August 2020: Kaylia begins to produce the Ghosthropology Podcast.
May 2019: Kaylia was a judge in the Annual Fresno Library Poetry Contest. and preformed a freading at the ceremony.
March 2019: Kaylia was at FogCon again rubbing elbows with Becky Chambers and Karen Joy Fowler.
February 2019: Kaylia sold copies of Links at the BlenderCon Mall Showcase in Fresno, CA.
November 2018: Pages and Popcorn Podcast launches. Kaylia is the writer, host, and producer of this bi-weekly (mostly) podcast about movies based on books.
November 4th 2017, “Links” available for sale at the Fresno UU Craft Show.
March 20th – May 20th 2017: Kaylia’s art show “A Year in the Valley” on display at the Fresno Gillis Branch Library and featured on the FOTL Blog.
February 2017: Kaylia returns to Community Link with article “Why I March” Cross posted at the GCV Blog.
November 2016: Kaylia hosts a writers workshop retreat. Response is positive and more workshops will be scheduled in 2017.
June 2016: Kaylia writes a limited run children’s book “Maddie and the Too Many Mommies” with illustrations by Stacy McClanahan. Wide release and coming to Kindle in 2017.
October 2015: Zappcon, Kaylia moderates the “Queers in Comics” and “World Building Author Advice with Starla Huchton” panels
December 2011 – June2013 : Kaylia joins the Community Alliance as a regular monthly contributor. She writes the monthly LGBTQ column.
December 2011: Kaylia’s fiction hiatus ends and she begins working on a new novel, working title: “Women of the Valley.”
October 2011: Links is made available as a e-book on both the Kindle and the Nook
May 2011 – June 2012: Kaylia’s work on the GayFresno site is regularly picked up and published in Newslink.
May 2011: Kaylia’s article “State of The Valley”, written in conjunction with Chris Jarvis, for the Community Alliance is published.
April 2011 – April 2012: Kaylia becomes a staff contributor to www.gayfresno.com She covers local events, writes op-ed pieces, and does a weekly news round-up.
February 2011: Kaylia pitches her “Queen’s Guard” and “Mirror Image” novels to agents at the San Francisco Writers Convention. Both are met with excitement.
November 2010: Kaylia leaves Santa Cruz for Fresno and goes on a brief fiction writing / promotions hiatus.
